Vitamin B Supplements
Vitamin B supplements come in eight vitamins in total, which are necessary for normal body functions. They include: Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and Vitamin B12. The body cannot manufacture its own vitamins. Vitamins are also water soluble and get depleted faster. One needs to replenish vitamin B in the body always. Lack of any of the vitamins can lead to deficiency diseases. For example, lack of vitamin B1 can lead to beriberi disease.
B vitamins are found in large concentrations in meat, beans, lentils and molasses. However, Vitamin B12 is not found in Plant products but can be injected to the body for vegetarians. Vitamin B supplements are available as dietary supplements that are sold in supermarkets and health centers. Vitamin B12 is important in replication and maturation of red blood cells. When the number of red blood cells in the body is low, the volume of blood goes down. This deficiency may cause one to become fatigued and pale leading to anemia. Vitamin B is also important in synthesis of acetylcholine which is necessary for memory updates. These supplements therefore improve concentration abilities. Each B vitamin has a specific purpose designed for it. Most supplements have been made easier as they are available in liquid, tablet and capsules. One capsule for instance will contain all the variants of Vitamin B. Capsules can be taken anywhere easily. Because of busy schedules, we do not have time to buy individual food that contains these supplements. A Vitamin supplement is necessary to complete the right level needed for cell metabolism and boost immunity
